Join us for a hands-on opportunity to learn the technique of silverpoint at the Kedumba Gallery, Wentworth Falls.

Your instructor is Phil Went. Phil studied classical drawing and painting techniques in Florence. He is an Instructor at the Julian Ashton Art School, and was a 2022 finalist in the Darling Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery.

He will conduct a hands-on silverpoint workshop, on Saturday, 11th March. Participants will learn the history, fundamentals and technique of silverpoint drawing.

Through hands-on demonstrations and individual practice, you will develop your skills in creating delicate, detailed drawings on specially prepared surfaces.

Whether you’re an artist seeking to expand your mediums, or simply curious about the rich history of silverpoint, this workshop is sure to be a rewarding and enlightening experience.

The fee is $70, and includes all materials and afternoon tea. The workshop will be held on Saturday 11th March 2023, from 1:30pm to 4:30pm at the Kebumba Gallery, Wentworth Falls.
