Karen is a talented Hartley based photographer who says this about herself.
My love of photography developed about 19 years ago when my first child was born. Once moving from Katoomba to Hartley, I just couldn’t get enough of what nature had to offer in my own backyard and I developed a love of Macro. It was then I developed a facebook page, Karen Edwards photography, “just for fun” from which I began to get requests to do family shots in the beautiful outdoors.
I love my local community and try to support it when I can with my photography and have won several prizes in the Lithgow show including Reserve champion in 2014 . I strive to capture the moment and personalities of those I photograph in the beautiful surroundings that the Blue Mountains and Hartley region have to offer.
