The Blue Mountains Flavour Festival will be held this Saturday, 25th March, in Katoomba, opposite Scenic World.

This is an all-weather event, so come rain, hail or shine, we will be there from 12 pm – 9 pm, ready to showcase the best of the Blue Mountains’ culinary delights. Getting to the festival is easy! Catch the 686 or 686G bus from various stops or Katoomba Station to Scenic World. If you prefer to drive, parking is also available.

Once you arrive, you’ll be greeted with the sights and sounds of a fantastic festival, all part of the Equinox – Autumn Celebration of the Senses festival. FREE entry is part of the Equinox festival, so come and join us for a day filled with mouth-watering food, live music, and entertainment. With over 70 stalls attending, you’ll be spoilt for choice with food trucks, dessert trucks, international street food, and more.

The festival will also feature three live cooking shows at 2 pm, 4 pm, and 6 pm, where you can watch some of the best chefs in the region showcase their skills. Not only will you enjoy an incredible culinary experience, but you’ll also be surrounded by stunning scenery and be part of a vibrant community festival that celebrates everything that’s great about the Blue Mountains.

ITINERARY

LISTEN to the podcast:

David King will be opening the festival at 12.15, with a welcome smoking ceremony.

Willem Sherlock Roorda will be performing Blues music from 12.30-3pm

French Chef Stephane Pois cooking show

  • 2pm Entree – French onion soup
  • 4pm Main – Burgundy Beef
  • 6pm Dessert – Chocolate cake with Steph’s Coulis.

3-6pm- Jack Kenyon Musician

3-6pm – Zany’s Yare Youth Circus

From 6-9pm Will conn is one of the evening performers his photo is attached.

7pm and 8pm is the fire eating and dancing performance.

Between 7-8pm we have roaming led light hula hoop performance

Food Trucks, international street food Yum Cha, licenced eatery area, Candy trucks, Pizza Trucks dessert trucks, gluten-free and vegan options.
