In Autumn the Blue Mountains of New South Wales are ablaze with colour. During Autumn there are many amazing open gardens you can visit to enjoy the colours.

Entry: $15 Adult, $5 Child for access to the House, Garden and Museum. The 5 hectares of beautiful temperate gardens offer mature trees, cool walkways and seasonal underplantings that reflect the seasonal changes. The Historic House, built in 1912 is in original condition, a rare example of decorative arts and furnishings of this period.

Exhibits of the important toys, games, models and books of the 20th Century add to the visit. Currently the House & Gardens are open for your enjoyment, as well as the train museum and railway displays in the gardens. Common sense social distancing and responsible hygienic measures are practised at this time.

The Campbell Rhododendron Gardens

Open to walk in any time, all year around. Entrance Gates to car park open 9am daily and close promptly 6pm in summer and 4pm in winter. Deciduous trees have been planted throughout the Campbell Rhododendron Gardens 18.3 hectares, and in autumn, the Gardens’ Maple Grove is a wonderland of glowing yellowed and russet leaves.

Entry: $5 donation per person. There are wheelchair accessible paths to the Lookout over the Gardens, and to the toilets.

Gardens have spectacular views of the mountains and surrounding valley. Rare plants for sale grown in the gardens. Some disability access to the gardens in areas that are gravel and lawns. Please note this garden isn’t suitable for small children due to water features. Group discounts and free guided tour available for groups 20+.
