Housed on Lurline Street, it feels part cottage, part cocoa laboratory, and entirely designed to sabotage any plans you had for “just a quick look.”

Atmosphere and setting
Inside, cabinets gleam with handmade truffles, bars and novelty pieces, from classic pralines to cheeky shapes and chocolate-dipped figs. The space has that old-school mountain charm: a bit cosy, a bit touristy, and absolutely built for the post-bushwalk sugar crash. Families, couples and day-trippers all seem to end up here, usually leaving with more boxes than they intended.
Chocolate and treats
The real hook is the range: over 20 flavours of chocolate bars plus individual bonbons, truffles, jellies, spreads and gift boxes. Think raspberry bonbons with a clean finish, giant freckles, lucky cat novelties and chocolate-dipped Turkish delight, all made on site and boxed up for the drive back down the mountain. It’s the kind of cabinet where “I’ll just choose one” is a bold and frankly unrealistic statement.
The famous hot chocolate
Their signature “real hot chocolate” is almost a ritual: a pot of hot milk over a tea light, and a generous pile of chocolate buttons you stir in to taste. It’s rich, playful and a little theatrical — more interactive dessert than simple drink, and easily one of the most talked-about hot chocolates in Katoomba. The only real danger is going back for a second round and then realising you still have stairs, hills and possibly the Giant Stairway in your future.

Between the hot chocolate experience, the mountain of take-home treats and the made-on-site charm, it earns its reputation as a must-do detour before or after you wave at the Three Sisters.
