Create your own comic with cartoon artist, Glenn Misztal, who will be taking requests for sketch drawings for a gold coin donation which will go towards the Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund to help them provide valuable assistance to communities affected by the recent NSW Storms.

The Blue Mountains City Library Free Comic Book Day continues to be a great success enjoyed by comic book fans of all ages. Comics, also known as graphic novels, are popular with both adults and children but are an especially effective way to introduce young children to reading.

Last year’s Free Comic Book Day saw customers dressed as Cruella De Vil, Sailor Moon, Batgirl, Captain America and Sylvester the Looney Tunes Cat, amongst others, in an event that attracts a crowd of inventive and colourful costumes and celebrates the kooky and unique culture of Comics and Graphic Novels.

So don’t miss out on a chance to release your cartoon alter-ego and enjoy a morning of comic fun.
